"The American Women's Club of Central Scotland was very fortunate to have had Sam MacAdam perform at its annual Thanksgiving dinner. The adults and the children alike were delighted by the melodious folk songs played on the harp by Sam. Her beautiful music established a harmonius atomosphere. Sam MacAdam is a very talented musician whose passion for music is expressed well through her songs. "

"Sam was a pleasure to work with during our otherwise intense and difficult practices. We were called in at late notice and Sam was not only able pick up the music swiftly, but also to perform it imaginatively and add her own contributions to the directing of the musical performance. She willingly put in extra hours and stayed on to ensure the event ran smoothly, taking the time to help out other musicians, including making extensive journies out of town to aid others. Not only is Sam a talented musician, but I can vouch for her being kind, thoughtful, extrememly adaptable even under stressful situations and one who works well within an ensemble and in organising gigs and practices."

"Sam is both a highly talented musician, and a genuinely lovely person to be around. When playing in Oxfam on The Royal Mile, Sam’s harp adds a wonderful ambience to the shop, and we certainly notice an increase in sales when she is with us for the afternoon! She is patient with children and adults alike and happy to interrupt her performance in order to enthusiastically explain her harp or the music that is currently being played. We always look forward to Sam performing. A genuine talent."
